Streetkick

The Streetkick team will be touring Switzerland and Austria for the full two weeks, making it three major tournaments in a row for this unique tool of working with fans. The Streetkick game has proved popular with fans at previous European Championships in Portugal and the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

Run by UK FARE members Football Unites, Racism Divides (FURD), and German partners Dem Ball Egal, Streetkick uses the addictive power of playing football to engage with fans through small-sided games within the inflatable walls. The game will tour major venues in both nations, beginning in early afternoon, connecting fans by allowing them to play football in an environment of harmony, respect and fun.

A 6 panel multilingual exhibition from FARE will travel with the Streetkick team too. Materials including a FARE fanzine, leaflets in languages of all the qualified teams, T-shirts and themed posters will be available there. This year it will include a music system so people can listen to their favourite songs whilst playing. You can take part at the following matches … so don’t forget your shooting boots!
