A 21 minute dcumentary look at the history of racism in football, including how the game is now tackling the issue, with first hand accounts from leading footballers.

Presenter Kevin Miles explores the changing face of racism in football with personal accounts from Niall Quinn, Les Ferdinand, Thierry Henry, John Barnes, Rio Ferdinand and Didier Drogba, amongst others.

Kevin looks at the how the racism in football has reflected the racism in society at large, and we hear about Viv Anderson, the first black player to win a full cap for the England football team.

Racism and the Beautiful Game considers the historical context of racism in football and explores progress made to combat racism in the British game.
