Clapton Community Football Club are producing an exhibition which will be shown at local schools to celebrate the career of Walter Tull, the first Black player to play professional football in the UK. The exhibition will focus on the ways in which Tull challenged racism and broke through barriers to achieve playing success. The club are also creating an anti-racism banner that will be a permanent fixture in the stadium during matches and include references to Walter Tull.
