GirlPower Football Club will address the importance of girl’s and women’s football with a three-step action plan. October 10th will mark the release date of their short film documentary about mothers and daughters, who will take part in GirlPower Football Club’s activities, sharing a common passion for football. A social media campaign will follow running for ten consecutive days, aimed at stressing the benefits of football for girls and women. On the final day of the social media campaign a festival at an indoor football hall, open to families but with activities aimed at girls and women, will be held. Activities will include training sessions, games, fun activities for kids and speeches. adidas will be the event’s main partner and additional partners will be affiliated Russian football clubs and potentially the Russian Football Union.
