18 October, Mexico City
Zorros LGBT will bring together the LGBT community for a Football-tennis tournament, with a special on the transgender community. Local teams of trans women and trans men will participate in the tournament. Information services on sexually transmitted infections will be offered and free condoms and lubricants will be provided for participants. The event will be held at the fields of the “LGBT football league” of Mexico City (Azcapotzalco) and will host approximately 50 participants in a restricted scenario due to the pandemic, or 80 participants in an encouraging scenario. The event is open to all people who want to attend, registration is free and participating teams are required to have at least 1 transgender player on their rosters. Due to the pandemic restrictions, a football tennis tournament guarantees limited attendance and social distancing, it will also be livestreamed for those who don’t have the chance to come due to sanitary restrictions.
