Regional Youth Info-Centre Rijeka – Yasa

Regional Youth Info-Centre Rijeka YASA is launching a national campaign against discrimination within the country’s professional football. The launch of the campaign will take place in Zagreb, Split, Rijeka and Koprivnica through a press conference that will count with the presence of a Fare representative.

During the Action Weeks period, five matches of the Croat first league will see players, referee and coaches diffuse a message against discrimination displayed on their t-shirst and on banners that will be taken into the pitch.

The organisation will also host workshops for fans on the same topic.

Association Football Academy Roma 'Little Barcelona'

The Croatian grassroots organised a football match and a conference under the motto ‘Ball against violence, discrimination and racism’ in the frame of the Football People weeks.

GNK Dinamo Zagreb

15 October

The Croatian football club GNK Dinamo Zagreb is organising a series of activities during the Fare Action Weeks.

The activities include an online campaign on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with the hashtags #DinamoFARE #ModriProtivRasizma; a series of workshops about racism in schools; the display of flags and banners against racism and violence at matches; hospitality for minority groups during matches and the wear of special t-shirts by GNK players during the Croatian league match against Zadar on 14 December.


Sports Association Petrova Gora

20 October

To celebrate the Action Weeks, the football club Petrova Gora is producing a video clip with an anti-discrimination message featuring some of the club’s best known players.

On the day of the event, the player will warm-up in Fare t-shirts and both teams and the referees will wear jerseys with an inclusive message and majorettes will hold flags reading ‘No to violence! No to racism!’ Children representing several minority groups will escort the players onto the pitch.

A permanent banner against discrimination will be unveiled at the stadium to emphasise equality for all citizens regardless of their nationality, race or gender.

White Angels Zagreb

19 – 20 October

White Angels Zagreb, an antiracist fan group of NK Zagreb will host a football tournament for asylum seekers and migrants.

In cooperation with the Centre for Peace Studies, Antifa Zageb, Alerta – Monitoring Centre on right-wing extremism, Green Action and Radio Student, the group will continue to campaign against anti-racism, emphasizing the need for social inclusion of ethnic minorities.
