[:en]9 – 18 October, Eindhoven

PSV Eindhoven are starting a social media campaign (Twitter and Facebook) building up to the activities organized for the Dutch Premier league match VVV Venlo – RKC Waalwijk on 25 October 2014.

Players, children and the club’s mascot will wear a special Show racism the Red card/Fare T-shirt supporting PSV Eindhoven’s initiative against Islamophobia. All players, children and the referee will hold a special banner before the match with the Show Racism the Red Card/anti-Islamophobia/Fare message.

Advertisements creating awareness will also be published on the match day programme and on the club’s LED board.

PSV Eindhoven are the first club in the Netherlands to start a project to tackle Islamophobia. They are currently setting up a new initiative on the topic, which will launch in January 2015, and want to use the Football People action weeks to raise awareness of it.

Follow the organisation on Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter.[:]
