Beit Theresienstadt

 19-23 October, Petach Tikva

The educational group is organising led visits to the “Hamoshava Stadium” and the holocaust exhibition about the history of Liga Terezin with local teenangers.

Liga Terezin constituted of Jewish inmates in the ghetto Theresienstadt, the league’s players were sent to Auschwitz. The young people will visit the exhibition, watch a film and will discuss the current use of racist terms in modern football, especially terms that relate to the Holocaust.

Football State

09-23 October

Throughout the two weeks, Football State is mounting some 5-10 tournaments with around 30-60 teams that will run under the Football People motto including dedicated discussions extensive social media activity on all their platforms.

The climax will be a special tournament featuring five amateur teams representing very different social and ethnic backgrounds: a local Muslim-Arabic team, an orthodox religious Jewish team, inner-city teenagers, mostly immigrants from Ethiopia and Eastern Europe, an LGBT team and a team representing the Christian Armenian community. They will meet, play a friendly mini-football tournament, and gather for an open discussion about discrimination and racism in Israeli football and society.

Halev Hayarok - Hapoel Kfar Saba Supporters Trust

11 October, Kfar Saba

Halev Hayarok aims to promote intercultural exchange and positive coexistence between the Jewish and Arabic supporters from Kfar Saba and Tira. They will invite fans from both cities to participate in a tournament.

Hapoel Kfar Saba football club is supporting the event and will send a player of their club to attend the activity.

Premier League club Maccabi Haifa is backing the Fare action weeks. The team’s Cameroonian forward Mohammadou Idrissou has sent a picture and a message in support of the campaign.
