The foundation of the English Premier League club is running a week-long international exchange visit for youth from Germany and the UK to raise awareness of religious intolerance. A total of 20 youngsters will attend football coaching, workshops and visit several worship places to develop an understanding on how football can help build bridges between different communities and faiths.
The group will also develop educational resources, such as a short video, based on the learnings and experiences of the week. These will be promoted in the Family Fun Zone at the Aston Villa ground during a match day, on the club’s website and social media.
