#FootballPeople weeks in 202020 April 2020

Theplanningisalreadyunderwayforthisyear’sFootballPeopleWeeks,whichissettotakeplacebetween8thand22ndOctober.

The weeks are the largest campaign for social change and diversity in global football, with over 150,000 people in more than 50 countries taking part in events across Europe and beyond.

With the world facing Covid-19 pandemic, it is as important as ever that football comes together to create positive change, regardless of our background, origin, race, religion, gender or sexuality.

We will be encouraging and working with professional clubs, grassroots groups, players, anyone can do an activity that celebrates diversity and tackle discrimination in and through football.

With the possibility of lockdowns and social distancing still in place, perhaps more this year than ever before, the emphasis is on being creative. There is no limit as to what you can do as long as your activity relates to football and aims to bring about positive social change.

To support you for this, we will be offering both small grants and event grants, the latter up to €5000. Information on how to apply for small grants or event grants will be announced soon. Fare provides grants to grassroots and community groups and offers larger Events grants to support activities at national level.

Stay tuned for further updates, which will include the deadlines for small grants and event grants. For now, feel free to share your ideas with us and get in touch via info@farenet.org. Get connected and tell us about your activities.
