Wembley Stadium in London, England, will be host to the first ever conference held by the Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE) on 24th and 25th September 2011.
The conference, ‘Total Football, Total Access’, will see football dignitaries, stadium managers, architects, club representatives, disabled fans and non-disabled fans meet to discuss making European Football accessible to all.
CAFE’s primary aim is to promote and deliver inclusive football stadiums across Europe and to ensure that everyone including those who face physical, sensory and intellectual barriers can access the game. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to discuss inclusive stadium design along with solutions for improving existing facilities and services.
Confirmed speakers at the event include David Bernstein (Chairman of CAFE), Ben Veenbrink (UEFA Stadium Construction and Management Panel) along with representatives from UEFA and Disabled Supporters Groups.
