Austrian Action Week activities26 October 2003

The FairPlay stadium event of Grazer AK versus SV Salzburg formed the highlight of the FARE Action Week in Austria. A special edition of the FairPlay magazine was distributed by African refugees to all fans. Also the anti-racist message “Racism Divides, Football Unites” was on displayed on the stadium screen.

In Tirol, second league side FC Wacker launched an anti-discrimination paragraph as a new element in the club’s statutes. Supporter clubs displayed a choreography, while the team enters the pitch with an anti-racism banner. The activities took place at the new Tivoli stadium, one of the venues for the UEFA EURO 2008.
