The Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE) have announced the dates of their first ever conference to take place in Warsaw in September 2011.
CAFE is a FARE partner lobbying for the rights of disabled fans and offers support and guidance to all stakeholders in football to improve stadium facilities and services for disabled supporters.
The conference is taking place to highlight two years of steady and dynamic development, on the 24th and 25th September in the brand new National Stadium in Warsaw only a few months before the opening match of the EURO 2012 kick-offs at the venue.
Key stakeholders from across the game will come together, including fans, disabled groups, representatives from UEFA, EURO 2012, Football Associations and Leagues and partner NGOs.
The conference will provide an opportunity to share good practice and to discuss inclusive stadium design along with solutions for improving existing facilities and services
Experts in the field will cover all aspects of stadia accessibility including:
• Delivering inclusive stadiums
• Improving the accessibility of existing stadiums
• Delivering accessible services in football
• Developing networks of disabled supporters
