Project Coordinator – Poland
CAFE – Centre for Access to Football in Europe (www.cafefootball.eu) – is a UK based European wide charity promoting improved access to football for disabled people and raising disability awareness across the regions. CAFE was established in 2009 following the prestigious award of the Monaco prize and is funded by UEFA.
CAFE is seeking a dynamic and self motivated Project Coordinator in Poland. The successful candidate will report directly to the CAFE Eastern European Development Officer.
This role will be self-employed and home based with the successful candidate living in Poland. The candidate must have access to a computer and communications and must be computer literate. An understanding of supporters' networks will be important and outline knowledge of pan-disability access requirements for disabled supporters at sports stadia will be an advantage.
Key responsibilities include:
• Coordinating and supporting CAFE’s local implementing partner in Poland;
• Supporting the EURO 2012 Respect Inclusion project
• Providing summary reports of all territory activities and projects;
• Identifying and building a network of local and regional disabled supporters;
• Helping to produce support literature
This role includes travel and the successful candidate must be fluent in English (verbal and written) and Polish.
