The Football Association of Ireland and the Football Association of Montenegro in cooperation with FIFA and Football Against Racism in Europe and the Balkan Alpe Adria Project will, during the forthcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying match between Montenegro and the Republic of Ireland on the 10th of September, host a “Fan Friendly” tournament as part of their support for UEFA's & FIFA's action against racism and discrimination.
The “Fan Friendly” tournament will take place on Wednesday 10th September from 12.00am to 4.00pm at the ground in the street “Tolosi BB” and will involve local fans and Irish fans playing in mixed teams of different ages.
For the visitors and players there will be music and barbecue to create a good atmosphere.
This will be a great opportunity for travelling fans to put on the green jersey while extending the hand of friendship to fellow supporters of the beautiful game.
In the evening at the World Cup qualifier there will be activities against racism and discrimination involving both teams.
