The ninth edition of the multisport event will take place between 23-25 June across different venues of the Spanish capital.
Participants will be able to take part in a variety of sports including volleyball, beach volleyball, basketball, 7 and 11-a-side football, paddle tennis, swimming and for the first time diving.
In addition to this, the will also be a Pride Race for athletes interested in running and two urban hiking guided tours will take the participants across the most picturesque neighbourhoods of Madrid.
After welcoming nearly 1,000 athletes in 2016, the organisers are expecting to break participation records as the multisport event coincides with the celebration of World Pride in the Spanish capital.
Speaking about the event, Daniele Vitturini, President of GMadrid Sports, said: “Everybody is welcome, regardless of their sexual orientation, and whose main purpose of the event are to normalise the sports practice among the LGBTI public and to fight against all kinds of discrimination.”
Registration is open until 15 June. Athletes can benefit from an earlybird rate if they register before 30 April. Register here.
