Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Johan Cruyff, Howard Webb, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Franck Ribéry are among the football icons featured in the video to be shown on broadcast platforms across Europe in the coming months.

The clip will also be screened at UEFA Champions League and Europa League matchdays between 22 and 24 October.

The message highlights UEFA’s pledge to challenge discrimination in stadiums, reinforced last May by the adoption of the anti-discrimination resolution.

During the Fare action weeks team captains will also wear ‘No to Racism’ armbands, messages will be played over clubs’ public address systems, a No to Racism pennant will be exchanged between players in the pre-match line-ups and a banner will be displayed on the pitch.
