Metz supporters celebrate freedom18 October 2004

Metz supporters in France have celebrated the end of the Nazis with style, with a giant 40 metre wide banner. The display was part of FARE’s action week and remembers the towns liberation from the Nazis 60 years ago. 40 dedicated people spent 3 weeks working on the choreography. The display was a great success, being picked up by local and national TV and press. Additionally, supporters teamed up with LICRA to distribute 4,000 leaflets to fans.
