The Conference, which will be hosted at Athletic Club’s iconic San Mames stadium, will be attended by disabled fans, clubs, leagues, national associations and football governing bodies, as well as stadium architects, disability and equality advocates and experts from within football and the disability sector.
Issues on the agenda for 2018 include the experiences of disabled fans attending the 2018 FIFA World Cup and a look ahead to the plans for UEFA EURO 2020. There will also be discussions on the Disability Access Officer role, disabled supporters associations, audio-descriptive commentary, digital accessibility and the annual CAFE Week of Action campaign.
Attendance is free of charge for all delegates, and a very limited number of travel and accommodation bursaries remain available for disabled fans.
