The Mondiali Antirazzisti is a multi-cultural festival in northern Italy, with teams from fan groups, migrant organisations and NGO’s across the world taking part in a four day festival of football, workshops, music and other sports.
This summer the event kicks off on the 8th July near Modena.
The non-competitive Mondiali was first established in 2007 and has been part of FARE’s activities for many years. We will have a stall on site this year and offer interested people an understanding about FARE and what we do.
Groups can speak to us about their planned activities during the FARE Action Weeks in October and sign up for the new FARE membership scheme to be launched at the Mondiali.
To help us, we are on the search for volunteers who would like to work with us. You will need to be available to travel to Italy during the 6-10 July, have a basic knowledge of anti- discrimination and social inclusion work. Preferably, FARE volunteers are able to speak two languages.
As the Mondiali is an open-air festival, volunteers should be happy to camp out and own basic camping equipment. FARE will be able to reimburse travel and food costs for the time of the stay.
You can apply by sending us a brief resume of yourself to firstname.lastname@example.org by June 16th. We will let you know on that day so travel plans can be made.
